Filing requirements for a power of attorney to convey or release property are the same as required for recording a deed KRS 382.370.

Document must have the following information:

• Name of the person granting the power of attorney (grantor) (KRS 382.200)
• Name of the receiving the power of attorney (grantee) (KRS 382.200)

The clerk shall request a return mail address (KRS 382.240).

Document must be:

• Signed by the grantor (KRS 382.370 & 382.130)
• Acknowledged (Notarized) (KRS 382.370 & 382.130)
• A preparation statement is not required, AGO-62-1100

MARRIAGE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS (KRS 402.080)

No marriage shall be solemnized with a license.

The bride and groom must apply together.

AGE:

16 - 17 years of age:
bride must live in McCracken County, must have birth certificates, must have parent/guardian with Identification to sign consent.

18 - 20 years of age:
must have identification (Driver License, Birth Certificate, or Picture ID).

21 years of age or older:
no identification required.

No blood test and no waiting period.  The marriage license are issued the day that you apply.

Marriage license is good for 30 days from the date they were applied on.  After 30 days, if not used, the marriage license expire.
